Police officers and their families often face unique and challenges and hardships. Your donations not only assist the community we serve, but can also help our members in times of sickness, injury, emergencies, or even death. Funds further assist our members with Liability Insurance, Peace Officer License Decertification Legal Assistance, operational expenses, a voice at the Capital in Hartford, training and continuing education opportunities, educational events, community activities, peer support services, police equipment, public safety campaigns, honor officers for heroic acts, bravery, or other significant contributions to Thomaston, and many other worthy causes. Being a small police department, our membership payroll dues can only go so far. We are asking you for your help.
