Police officers and their families often face unique challenges, hardships, and unforeseen circumstances throughout their careers and personal lives. Contributions help fund a variety of important initiatives, including liability insurance, legal assistance related to Peace Officer License decertification matters, operational expenses, legislative representation at the Connecticut State Capitol in Hartford, professional training and continuing education opportunities, educational programs, community outreach activities, peer support services, police equipment, public safety campaigns, and recognition programs honoring officers who demonstrate exceptional bravery, heroism, or significant service to the Town of Thomaston.
